LM 132 PTFE-Gleitlack DESCRIPTION PTFE dispersion in thermoplastic resin solution manufactured according to a special method. LM 132 PTFE Anti-Friction Lacquer combines the unique properties of PTFE with the high wear resistance of a synthetic resin. The film cures at room temperature. - PROPERTIES - basic lubrication and "for life" lubrication TECHNICAL APPLICATION LM 132 PTFE Anti-Friction Lacquer can be applied to nearly all substrates such as metals, wood and plastic etc. Before applying to plastic and paint, the product must be checked to find out whether the solvents in it are compatible with the surface. INSTRUCTIONS Apply thinly and uniformly to the cleaned and degreased surface. Preparing the surface beforehand mechanically or chemically by sand blasting etc. improves the adhesion of the anti-friction lacquer. The sprayed coating thickness should be between 10 and 30 mm. If a much thicker coating is required, several layers must be applied one after the other. When doing this, if must be ensured that each coat is thoroughly dry before applying the next coat. The film dries at room temperature within a few minutes but the curing time is approx. 2 hours. After this time has elapsed, the coating is hard and smooth. Warming gently to 65 ¡ãC using infrared lamps, hot air or in a drying oven reduces the curing time. LM 132 PTFE Anti-Friction Lacquer must be stored cold (below +25 ¡ãC). The product must be used below 65 ¡ãC. The usual safety measures which apply to the storage and use of flammable materials must be followed as must the guidelines for handling PTFE powder. After use, clear spray nozzle by inverting can and spraying until only the propellant emerges. AVAILABLE
